Ford is working on a Chevy Bolt and Tesla Model 3 long-range EV called the Model E

Ford plans to continue its idea of producing a long-range EV competitor for the Chevrolet Bolt and Tesla Model 3. Naturally, the Ford car was to be called Model E.

Initially, several announcements from the Ford executive team did not express much hope in the electric car market. But due to changes in trends and demand, Ford decided to change its views on this issue, starting with the confirmation of CEO Mark Field about the E model, as well as his desire to make Ford “a leader in the field of electric vehicles”.

The plan is to offer a range of 200 miles and will be built in Mexico, with the intention of selling up to 50,000 units per year.
